Need creative direction, dramaturgy, help create a flow or movement language for your play or performance?

 

Yami offers workshops in devising theatre, creating shows from idea to stage, improving your practice, working with text and movement, taking your show to the next level and getting ideas off the ground.

 

Who is it for:

• This service is offered to individuals,  theatres, dancers, artists and companies wanting to develop their movement, composition, overall performance or script.  

I open for collaborative projects, and can facilitate one-off sessions or multiple sessions on a project-by-project basis.

 

 • Choreographers interested in telling stories, and wish to find new sources of inspiration and techniques to develop their skills and others. 

 

• Theatre practitioners and companies that are interested in working with dance and dance artists.

 

•  Workshops: 

Yami will guide you through creative tasks used in theatre and storytelling.

During the session, we will look at individual ideas, different ways of expression using movement, text,  lighting, props. narrative and character. 

It will be task driven in either physical or written form in an individual or group setting.
